Welcome to SOLANCO YOUTH BASKETBALL!
Serving Solanco for over 25 years, Solanco Youth Basketball provides fun and developmental focused basketball to youth in the Solanco School District. We have leagues available for grades K - 9th grade and average 300 players each season.

ANNOUNCEMENT: SOLANCO YOUTH BASKETBALL FOOD DRIVE
We are partnering with Solanco Neighborhood Ministries for our 8th Annual SYB Food Drive. Please collect donations over this month of January. All donations will be dropped off on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1ST at SMITH MIDDLE SCHOOL between 9am – 3pm (gym entrance hallway). OUR GOAL = 650 POUNDS OF DONATIONS (last year we donated 497 pounds)!
To help us meet our 650 Pound Goal, HERR FOODS INC will give a matching gift. For every 1 pound of donations, Herr’s will donate $2 to Solanco Neighborhood Ministries up to $1,500!
This is a great opportunity to support our community!
Here are some recommended Food Donation ideas:
Tomato Soup (10 oz Can)
Chicken Noodle Soup (10 oz Can)

Diapers (sizes: 5 & 6)

2024/2025 Winter Season Updates:
SYB Player Recognition Nights @ Solanco High School
• Boys teams in Select, D1, D2, and D3 will be held on FRIDAY, JANUARY 17TH at the Solanco High School Boy’s game. Players & coaches should be seated in bleachers behind Solanco’s bench at 7:15pm (7:30pm game start).
• Girls teams in Select, D1, D2 & ALL Peewee players will be held on TUESDAY, JANUARY 21ST at the Solanco High School Girl’s game. Players & coaches should be seated in bleachers behind Solanco’s bench at 7:15pm (7:30pm game start).
Your child’s team will be introduced and will walk on to the court at halftime of the varsity game. Players should wear their team shirt.
January FOOD DRIVE for Solanco Neighborhood Ministries:
Solanco Youth Basketball will once again partner with Solanco Neighborhood Ministries for the SYB FOOD DRIVE in JANUARY 2025! Your teams will collect food items to be donated to the Solanco Food Bank. This is a great opportunity to teach your players what teamwork looks like in our community.
All team collections must be dropped off at Smith (hallway outside the gym) on Saturday, February 1st (between hours of 9am -3pm)
